We provide two types of wood flooring: prime grade and rustic grade, each with unique qualities and grain patterns. A variety of finishes can also be put to wooden floors to give an additional degree of customization as well as protection from everyday wear and tear. Natural oil, 2K oil, UV oil, hardwax oil, lacquer, and stains are some examples of these.
We use a variety of surface treatments to create totally custom floors. One of our most popular processes is smoking, which deepens the wood’s inherent colour to provide a light, medium, or dark smoked appearance.
Fuming is also a popular process that unlocks tones of deep dark brown. The texture of wooden flooring is an important and often overlooked aspect. Our products can be tumbled and distressed to look aged achieving a highly desirable authentic and traditional experience/feel.
In addition, bandsawn floors feature traditional cut marks across the face, whereas brushed wood floors undergo a process that removes the soft grain to bring to life the texture of the wood.
